It's a fact I'm always in a certain inspiration of either Balmain, or Isabel Marant.

Romantique and very unique, JanTaminiau show is very original and different from other designers.
It represents a Dutch  source of inspiration and has previously presented his collections in Paris.
 I loved it!

It all has been a blast in the chilly weather of Amsterdam. Between dinners, great shows, friends and lots of clothes, I have had the perfect week, it was needed after spending the craziest and best time in Tokyo, so
I quickly changed from Kimonos to high stilettos.
I shared this excellent couple of days with Alix, Louise, Andy, Emilie and Carolina, and other great people!
Let me get this right and will place on Chicmuse more more photos.
Palazzo from Topshop (in Tokyo), D&G velvet jacket, Kurt Keiger shoes, vintage jewelry
au revoir!
PS: I'm currently staying at the College Hotel, and decided to stay here until the weekend taking the fact that it is beautiful!
I'm loving Amsterdam!

Emmanuelle Alt at Vogue Paris

"Since the announcement went out that Emmanuelle Alt was to succeed Carine Roitfeld as the new editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, the fashion world has been dying to hear what she has planned for the style bible."

I'm also dying to see. And I love that look!
See you later. Amsterdam is calling!

Yes, we're packing again, we fly on Tuesday to a place I haven't been. It's maybe colder than Japan but it seems to be a perfect plan for a week. I'm excited!
This faux fur turned out to be so useful and I'm still attached and in love with the MiuMiu bell bottoms.

I wonder what would have been to live in a time where your Kimono was something essential. Since I arrived to Japan, I knew I wanted to do something: to feel dressed like history hadn't come to these times. I searched all over Kyoto for white cotton socks, these perfect wooden kimono shoes, and finally, for a silk Kimono. I'm glad that beginning this year, I came to Japan and discovered this hidden and diferent world.
I'm also wearing an Yves Saint Laurent vintage belt, that Yves actually made
inspired by Japanese culture for his collection ,
and I love the fact that it's so well done.
I even discovered it was probably used in the runway (it has written instructions for wearing it and it's tiny size). So it seems that now with this place and this garments fits perfectly. I had a big coffee and patience to choose from the photos, but I couldn't just post 3 pictures this time, because I won't be everyday in Kyoto wearing my Kimono and feeling like a Geisha. I hope you like it!

CHICMUSE FOR VOGUE NIPPON

Denni/Vogue Nippon February 2011 styled by Sissy Vian, photograph by Mark Seliger.
A few months ago I was contacted to be part of a big project for Vogue Nippon: Everything was scheduled, I would be flying to NYC during the fashion week and all I thought was of a huge closet full of Dolce, Balmain, Chanel and everything Haute Couture. As time flew, I found myself at the big date and arrived to meet a wonderful team and nothing like a inmense and perfect closet, but all the best things of the best maisons and tables full of shoes, clothes, accesories, sunglasses, even snacks.
Manicure, pedicure, hair, make up, and 2 hours after all those, I was being photographed for Vogue,
and was having pidgeons on my shoulder. Everything then was quick, and I kept the dream alive.

I want to thank all the Vogue Nippon team, the great and lovely Sissy Vian for styling me with Giles Haute Couture and calling me her couture girl, Mark Seliger for being the best photographer and friend, and Anna Dello Russo, for her support and amazing attitude with making this project true. I was honored to be shot and styled by such professional persons.
